Integrated Management System Policy – The policy of Southern Can Making Company (SCMC) to produce & supply safe products of agreed quality to consistently meet customer needs & expectations and enhance customer satisfactions so there is complete assurance that our customer receives the optimum cans
Can Ends quality & are unlikely to become ill or injured by foreign objects present in the product.
In order to achieve this objective, we are rigorously adhered & committed to relevant National, International Statutory/Regulatory Requirements and with mutually agreed quality & food safety requirements of the customer. We will strive to achieve growth & leading position in beverage Cans/Can Ends manufacturing industry thru our high commitment to the followings:
- Supplying high quality, safe & hygiene beverage Cans/Can Ends products to the consumers.
- Complying requirements & continually improve the effectiveness of Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) & Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000:2018 and FSSC-22000).
- Review our objectives and achievements periodically for continual performance improvement of processes.
- Plan and evaluate our processes via consideration of the associated business Risk.
- Ensure that this IMS Policy is communicated, understood & implemented by all concerned Departments and everyone within the Organization.
- This policy will be reviewed on periodic basis for continuing suitability with International Standards
- Maintain the flexibility to integrate other related management system requirements

Supplying High-Quality, Safe, and Hygienic Cans Products:
- Ensuring that our cans meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and hygiene for consumers.
Prevention Approaches:
- Prioritizing prevention approaches over detection and rectification methods.
Compliance and Continuous Improvement:
- Complying with requirements and continuously improving the effectiveness of our Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) and Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000:2005).
Teamwork and Employee Development:
- Creating an environment of teamwork and enhancing employees' awareness, knowledge, and commitment toward QMS (ISO 9001:2015) and FSMS (ISO 22000:2005) through relevant training.
Effective Communication:
- Maintaining appropriate communication channels with customers, suppliers, and statutory/regulatory authorities to ensure sufficient information on quality and food safety issues. Internally, we communicate any changes that impact quality or food safety within the company.
Setting Quality and Food Safety Objectives:
- Establishing the necessary quality and food safety objectives to improve the effectiveness of QMS ISO 9001:2015 and FSMS ISO 22000:2005.
