Our Goals and Objectives
Recognizing our responsibility to uphold international standards and specifications, we are steadfastly implementing an effective quality management system within our plant. Our commitment is to ensure that our products meet and exceed expectations in all facets, from manufacturing to packaging and shipping, specifically tailored for the canning, packaging, and distribution of beverages. The foundational requirements encompass:
Satisfactory Performance:
- Construction and sealants for end seams must prevent product leakage.
- The cans must resist internal pressures encountered during pasteurization, transportation, and storage without buckling or bulging.
Adequate Product Protection:
- Internal lacquer layers of food-grade quality must sustain the desirable properties of the product, including flavor, aroma, clarity, and/or carbonation during reasonable periods of storage.
- The lacquer layers must be free from any undesirable tastes or odors that could be imparted to the product.
- The lacquer layers must be generally recognized as safe within the meaning of the Food Additive Amendment.
Attractive Appearance:
- Decoration and protection must conform to the design, printing, and color tolerance limits established by samples supplied or approved by the customer.
- The can must retain its attractive appearance for reasonable periods of normal exposure to pasteurization, can handling, and storage.
Adequate Identification and Packaging:
- The cans will be adequately identified with a coded designation for the supplier and supplier’s plant on the can body decoration, conforming to samples supplied or approved by the customer.
- Packaging and shipping will be executed as ordered by the customer.
At Southern Can Making Company Limited (SCMC), our goals and objectives revolve around not just meeting but surpassing these criteria. We are dedicated to ensuring that our products not only meet international standards but consistently deliver on quality, appearance, and functionality throughout the entire lifecycle, from production to the end consumer.
