Company History
Southern Can Making Company ltd. has been established by Sheikh Ali Abdullah Al-Esayi in 1995 with initial production annual capacity of 450 million steel cans. In 2003, due to the increasing market demand, the first expansion for the can production line was implemented which have increased the annual production capacity to 650 million cans. In 2007, the second expansion was implemented with a second production line of the same capacity, 650 million aluminum cans per year, which raised the overall production capacity to 1.6 billion cans per year.
In line with the economic boom in Saudi Arabia and with the desire of Sheikh Ali to manufacture Can-ends, the new production line has been established in 2015 with an operational production capacity of 1.2 billion can-ends per year using the latest technology.
